What's inside

The eight sections a sponsor needs to say yes

Sponsors buy access to an audience and a measurable result. Each section answers what a marketing or partnerships manager has to justify internally.

1
About the event or organization
What you do, when and where, and your track record. Two or three facts that show you can deliver what you sell.
2
Audience
Who attends or follows you: size, demographics, location, interests and channels, with the source of each number. This is what the sponsor is buying.
3
Why this sponsor
How their goals match your audience, written for this company. A proposal that could be sent to anyone reads that way.
4
Sponsorship tiers
Two to four packages with a price each, from title sponsor down, and exactly what each tier includes.
5
Activation and deliverables
Logo placements, booth space, speaking slots, content, tickets and social posts, each with its quantity and date.
6
Exclusivity
Which categories are exclusive to one sponsor, and at which tier. Sponsors usually ask about competitors early in the conversation.
7
Measurement and reporting
What you will measure, such as attendance, impressions, leads or engagement, and when the sponsor receives the post-event report.
8
Terms and next steps
Payment schedule, deadlines for artwork and deliverables, cancellation terms and the date you need a decision.

Why this template

Sold on audience, renewed on results

Most sponsorship proposals list logo placements. Sponsors renew when they can show their own team what the money delivered.

The audience comes with sources

Attendance, demographics and reach are stated with where each figure comes from, so the sponsor can reuse them in their own business case.

Tiers you can compare

Each package lists quantities and dates for every deliverable, so a sponsor can compare tiers without scheduling a call.

A report is promised up front

The post-event report is part of the offer, with its metrics named in advance. It is the document that gets you renewed next year.

FAQ

Questions about this template

Is the sponsorship proposal template free?

Yes. Download it as it is, in Word or PDF, without an account. You only create one when you want Cobl to rewrite it with your own audience data, your packages and your branding.

What should a sponsorship proposal include?

A short introduction to the event or organization, audience data with sources, why this sponsor fits, two to four priced tiers, the deliverables in each tier with quantities and dates, exclusivity terms, how results will be measured and reported, and the payment and deadline terms. Audience data and the post-event report are what sponsors use to justify the spend internally.

How do you price sponsorship packages?

Start from what each package delivers: audience reach, placements and access. Compare with similar events or teams, make sure every tier covers its cost to deliver, and space the tiers so each step up is clear. Price the top tier on exclusivity and the results a sponsor can report, not on logo size alone.

Can I use my own branding?

That is the point. Give Cobl your website and it reads your colours, your typography and your tone, then applies them to every page. Upload a past document and it locks onto your real design system.

Can I change the sections?

Yes. Add, remove or reorder anything. A template is a starting structure, not a locked form. Cobl remembers what you changed and applies it to the next document of the same type.
