Salesforce

Cobl connects to Salesforce so every opportunity moves with what its stage needs: recap, proposal, RFP response, business case.

What is Salesforce?

Salesforce is the most widely used CRM platform for enterprise sales teams. Sales Cloud manages accounts, contacts, opportunities, products and forecasting, and holds the custom objects and fields that describe how a specific business qualifies and progresses a deal.

In complex sales, Salesforce is the system of record for the deal. The documents that decide the deal are not. Proposals, RFP responses, scopes of work and security questionnaires get produced outside the CRM, which means the richest data about the buyer never reaches the page they actually read.

The gap between Salesforce and your sales documents

Opportunity data gets retyped

Account name, contact, close date, product mix and pricing are entered again by hand for every document.

Custom fields never make it into the document

The fields your team built to capture what makes a deal different are the ones most likely to be ignored.

Documents drift from the opportunity record

The opportunity is updated after a call. The proposal in someone's drafts folder is not.

Enterprise deals mean enterprise document volume

One opportunity can require a proposal, a scope, a security questionnaire and a reference pack, each built from scratch.

Every rep writes a different document

Without a shared content source, quality tracks whoever happened to own the account.

No view of the document stage

Salesforce reports on pipeline movement, not on how long it takes to get a response out.

What Cobl does with your Salesforce data

Opportunity and account context

Cobl reads account, contact, opportunity and custom field data and uses it as the basis for the document.

Documents built on real deal detail

Product mix, deal size and stage inform what the document argues, not just what it says on the cover.

Your existing content as source material

Past proposals, case studies and approved answers become the library Cobl drafts from.

Consistent structure at any volume

Every document follows the same format and brand standard whoever produces it.

Faster RFP turnaround

Reps start from a contextual draft instead of a blank page, then edit and approve.

Export in the formats you already use

Finished documents come out as PDF, Word or PowerPoint.
