Airtable

Cobl connects to Airtable so every record in your pipeline base drives its next step: recap, proposal, RFP response.

What is Airtable?

Airtable is a low-code platform that combines a spreadsheet interface with a relational database. Teams build bases for whatever they track: pipelines, RFP calendars, content libraries, pricing grids, partner lists. Many sales and bid teams run their whole process on a base they designed themselves.

The base is precise because the team built it to match how they sell. Every record has the fields that matter for that deal. Then the proposal gets written in another tool, by hand, and none of those fields make it into the document.

The gap between Airtable and your sales documents

A custom base with no document output

You modelled the pipeline exactly, then rebuild the same context by hand in every proposal.

Fields get flattened

The fields that describe what makes this deal different rarely survive the trip into the document.

Linked records stay linked in Airtable only

The deal links to the contact, the product and the pricing grid. The proposal sees none of it.

Content library in a base, unused

Approved answers sit in a table and the RFP still gets written from scratch.

Status without the work

The record says Proposal sent. Nobody knows which version.

Consistency depends on the individual

Without a common source, each person's document reflects their own habits.

What Cobl does with your Airtable bases

Records and fields as deal context

Cobl reads the records and fields you connect and uses them as the basis for the document.

Linked records followed

Contacts, products and pricing linked to a deal inform the proposal instead of being ignored.

Tables as content library

Approved answers, case studies and boilerplate stored in a base feed every new draft.

A next step for every record

When a record changes stage, Cobl proposes the action, recap, proposal, RFP response, and drafts it.

Status written back

Document ready, sent and signed can update the record.

Ready to send formats

Export as PDF, Word or PowerPoint, with one brand standard.

Frequently asked questions

Does Cobl integrate with Airtable?

Yes. Cobl connects to Airtable so bases and records can drive proposals and RFP responses.

What Airtable data does Cobl access?

Only the bases and tables you connect. Cobl does not read your whole workspace by default.

We use Airtable as our CRM. Does that work?

Yes. If your pipeline lives in a base, Cobl treats each record as a deal and runs it from there.

Can Cobl use an Airtable base as our content library?

Yes. A table of approved answers or case studies can serve as source content.

Can Cobl update the record?

Yes. Document status, next step and sent date can be written back to the record.
