Avoma

Cobl connects to Avoma so meeting notes and qualification detail shape the next document: follow-up, business case, proposal.

What is Avoma?

Avoma is an AI meeting assistant and conversation intelligence platform. Revenue teams use it to record and transcribe calls, generate structured notes, score calls against a methodology and coach reps. Notes can follow a template by meeting type, including a qualification framework such as MEDDIC.

Avoma's notes are structured for the deal review: pain, metrics, decision criteria, next steps. That is also the skeleton of a good business case. It rarely gets used as one, because the business case is written later, in another tool, by someone starting from a blank page.

Turn Avoma's structured notes into the business case the buyer takes to their committee

Cobl reads the Avoma meetings you connect to a deal, with their transcripts, notes and scorecards. The follow-up, the business case, the proposal and the questionnaire response draw on what was captured: the metrics the buyer cares about, how they will decide, who else is involved.

Structured notes give the agents the qualification picture. The transcript gives them the buyer's own words for it, which is what makes a business case read as the buyer's case rather than the vendor's.

What Avoma and Cobl look like on a live deal

A deal has three meetings in Avoma: discovery, a demo and a call with the buyer's finance lead. The notes follow the team's qualification template, and the finance call captured the metric the buyer will be measured on. The account executive opens a deal workspace in Cobl with all three meetings attached. The business case comes back built around that metric, with case evidence from the Shared Drive.

The champion forwards the business case to the committee with few changes. Later, the proposal and the security questionnaire go into the same workspace, and every document uses the numbers the buyer gave on the finance call. The sales manager keeps using Avoma's scorecards for coaching, and nothing is sent without review.

Key features of the Cobl Avoma integration

Transcripts, notes and scorecards as context

Cobl reads the transcripts, structured notes and scorecards of the meetings you connect to a deal. Each gives the document something different: the words, the structure and the gaps still open. A scorecard also shows which qualification points were never covered, which is worth knowing before a document commits to them. Using all three together keeps the document honest about what is known and what is assumed.

Qualification detail carried into the business case

Pain, metrics, decision criteria and the people involved come from the notes your team already takes. The business case starts from a qualified picture of the deal instead of a template with blanks. When the notes record who signs and what they measure, the business case can be written for that person and that metric from the first draft.

Several meetings, one deal

Discovery, demo and finance calls on the same opportunity inform the same document. A metric stated in the third call and a constraint raised in the first both reach the page, even when different people ran those meetings. The document reflects the whole conversation, not the most recent call.

Works with your CRM and video platform

Meeting context combines with opportunity records from Salesforce, and Avoma records on Zoom and Google Meet, so the same context reaches the document whichever platform the buyer chose. Salesforce adds the opportunity context that the meetings do not state explicitly.

Frequently asked questions

Does Cobl integrate with Avoma?

Yes. Cobl connects to Avoma so meeting transcripts, notes and scorecards can be used as context for follow-ups, business cases, proposals and RFP responses on the same deal.

What Avoma data does Cobl access?

The meetings you connect to a deal, with their transcripts, notes and scorecards. Cobl works from the text, not the recordings, and only from the meetings you attach.

Does Cobl replace Avoma's notes or coaching?

No. Avoma captures the meeting, structures the notes and supports coaching. Cobl uses that record to produce the documents the buyer reads. Scorecards stay where your managers use them, and Cobl reads them only as context for the deal.

Do we need a qualification template in Avoma?

No. Structured notes help the business case, but transcripts alone are enough for Cobl to work from. Teams that already use a framework get the most direct path from notes to document.

Do we keep control of what gets sent?

Yes. Cobl produces drafts. Precise changes go through the inline editor and approval stays with your team. More on data handling sits on the security page.
